Am I Good Enough?

Every time I ask myself this question I look at this picture. This is me in the 1st grade.

Do you think this kid is good enough?

He might not have felt loved or accepted as a child, but he is — like any other kid (or adult) — more than enough.

When you find yourself doubting whether you’re strong enough, or smart enough, or pretty enough or good enough — look at a picture of yourself as a child.  Let it remind you that EVERY child, including you, deserves to be loved and accepted.  Loved and accepted as a child, and loved and accepted as an adult.

LOOK AT THAT PICTURE AND BE THERE FOR THAT CHILD.  TREAT YOURSELF TODAY THE SAME WAY YOU WOULD TREAT YOURSELF AS A CHILD.  WITH LOVE AND PATIENCE.

Have a blessed day.
